You've Changed

I'm not everyone's cup of tea and that used to bother me. Above all else I just wanted to be accepted.
Growing up I didn't really feel like I fit in. I sure tried, if I wore the right clothes, had the same interests, didn't speak up, blended in, went along with the crowd, I would be liked.
It's not fun there.
When you start living life on your own terms, accepting the things you can't change and getting out of your comfort zone, that's where the fun is.

Just a couple months into dating my husband, we had "the money talk." It was a scary subject to approach but having learned from my past, I knew it was something I wanted full transparency on. What is your salary? How much debt do you have?
The conversion has served us well. It opened the door for asking other difficult questions and the level of intimacy continued to grow rapidly. Exploring the deep facets of your significant other's life can make or break the relationship. When you discover complete alignment, you suddenly can't wait to find out what the rest of your life is going to look like.
I challenge you to change, to ask the uncomfortable questions, to work through the difficulties, and come out on the other side with a deeper appreciation and understanding of those closest to you. Schedule a chat with me https://calendly.com/smithfc1210/coffee-and-chat
