During a networking call today, I learned about 300 Things I Want From God. Since I'm always up for challenge, as a curious person, I did a little research to see what this was all about. It sounds a lot like affirmations and manifestations, the law of attraction.

It is based on a couple of scriptures from the Bible, Habakkuk 2:2 - 'Write the vision and make it plain' and James 4:2 - 'You have not, because you have not asked.' I'll be the first to admit, I didn't even know Habakkuk was a book in the Bible (I still have so much to learn).

According to Steve Harvey, you write this list of 300 things down on paper, and you read it every morning and every night. After a year, cross off everything that has happened. I'm currently on 63 of 300. This will require a lot of thinking, since I have been trying to live with contentment and choosing to not think about all the things that I don't have or that I want.

Setting big goals and doing big things is part of who I am, so watch out world! Here I come!

If you're looking for me, I'll be busy finishing my list. I encourage you to dream big for yourself. The worst that could happen is 'no' or 'not yet' and the best that could happen, well that's something worth getting excited about!
